Rise of Mythos
Tactics and tips
General Boss Tips
Furious Troll:
Furious trolls are great starters with their 1cd. Because they can't die immediately due to Thick-Headed they will absorb the blunt of the spells. Higher CD trolls with Thick-Headed do work also ofcourse, but you won't get them out on the first turn.
Desperate Soul
Immunity to magic, and reduces all phys damage to 1, another great starter at most bosses.
Gringheist
This little fella is invincible in some phys only stages. Shame bosses that deal phys damage won't target him directly. Very usefull at shutting down lanes in these stages. Try putting a Yumi behind it for a great combo.
Yumi Swiftshot
Bosses got lots of units...so why not hurt them as soon as they enter the field? Especially if you mix yumi with things like heroic/decay she becomes lethal and almost a 1 unit army.
Ultimates
There are 4 kings in rise of mythos, and they're called kings for a reason. These powerhouses can dominate battles. They are also ultimates (the top card of their respective class, see your guide ingame and look at the bottom cards) but there are more ultimates out there, each very unique and potential powerhouses.
Easy Tactics
Spikerush can be used in some of the easier maps to finish of a boss fast. Another easy way to do it is to use the Kings Mausoleum tactic with the sylvi bladesoul.
Bossclasses
All bosses got classes, but there spells will be significantly altered a lot of the times pr be complete unique. So just because you see a fireball hurled your way, doesn't mean it will for example do magic damage despite the bossclass thus being defined as mage.
Lanes and positions matter!
Most bosses (the only exception so far seems to be RDL) targets the units closest to them first with direct damage, if they are equally close from top to bottom. AOE's often targets grouped units, but is more unpredictable (Shim stage 2 and sang stage 2 can target purely their own units for example).
More positioning and cardholding.
Try to place your units so that you will be able to do max damage, but not overkill. If you got an archer for example, place it at the back, so others can put a melee in front of it. Also remember you don't always have to play your cards as soon as their cd ends, sometimes its wiser to reset their cd to half and put that unit to better use.
